Documents stay in your browser

The current converter parses source text, creates its preview, and generates DOCX output in your browser. MarkdowntoDoc does not provide an upload endpoint, account system, or document database.

Information you provide

Markdown pasted, typed, selected, or dropped into the converter is held by the browser tab for the active session. Clearing the editor or closing the tab removes it from the interface. Your browser or extensions may independently keep form, cache, or download history under their own settings.

Third-party software

The site ships browser libraries for Markdown parsing, sanitization, and DOCX creation. These packages execute as part of the downloaded site code. Links or remote images contained in your own Markdown may contact their destination if the browser loads them.

Operational data

A future host or CDN may process ordinary request information such as IP address, timestamp, requested URL, and user agent for delivery, security, and reliability. The site uses Google Analytics to measure usage, so analytics requests may send standard page-visit and device information to Google. The converter does not upload your source documents or generated files as part of its conversion flow.
